National Occupational Standards (NOS)

Business skills development in SNAPSIM™ Leader uses competency matrix based on National Occupational Standards. These 74 national professional standards, developed in the UK are used by many professional bodies as a blueprint for their leadership and management development programmes. Among them is Chartered Management Institute (UK)For over 70 years, CMI have worked with business and education to certify managers and leaders.

This model groups all managerial competencies into four levels and six leadership zones. These six leadership zones are interconnected and mutually dependent. Each competency is described in a separate standard.

CIPD New Profession Map

In November 2018 CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) presented the new competency model for HR professionals. The learning programme we offer is based on the new CIPD Profession Map and best practices in HR profession and Learning & Development.

Please note, that the "Business acumen" standard is now one of the six Core Knowledge standards. It is fully dedicated to business-context.

CIPD "Business acumen" standard outlines the continuum of what HR professionals should know, but doesn't contain the exact list of knowledge, skills and behaviours of HR professionals to succeed in today's business environment. 

We use another competency matrix for it, based on the National Occupational standards (please see above).
