National Occupational Standards (NOS)

SNAPSIM™ Leader uses a competency model based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS). These 74 national professional standards, developed in the UK are used by many professional bodies as a blueprint for their leadership and management development programmes. Among them is Chartered Management Institute (UK)For over 70 years, CMI have worked with business and education to certify managers and leaders.

This model groups all managerial competencies into four levels and six leadership zones. These six leadership zones are interconnected and mutually dependent. Each competency is described in a separate standard.
